Ike Dike will provide protection against future hurricanes and other natural disasters including those brought on by climate change.

Neches River Dredging will allow Beaumont to grow and prosper as its port expands. Dredging will also increase the military sealift potential

Rebuilding Hwy 87 Reconnecting the parts of 87 closed after erosion of the old portion will increase traffic to cities like Sabine Pass who have been hurt by the closed Highway. This highway allows for more business traffic.

Rural Broadband Act creates the same low interest loans and grants that were made available to coops and electric companies in the 1930s to bring electricity to the rural areas for the purpose of creating a national broadband network. The business and educational opportunities are limitless.
